  • How much of the colon is cleansed during a colonic?
    The entire large intestine (approx. 6 ft.) is cleansed during a single colonic session. For a complete cleanse, twelve sessions are required.

  • Do I have to change my diet after a colonic?
    For the remainder of the day, eat soft foods and cooked vegetables only. Avoid fried or spicy foods.

  • How frequently can I have a colonic?
    As often as every two weeks. Some clients have a quarterly regimen. Many see us monthly.

  • Does a colonic prevent any diseases?

  • Do I have to take the acidophilus after my procedure?
    Yes. This works to replace the intestinal flora lost during your procedure.

  • Can I do normal activities after completing my colonic?
    Yes. You will be able to walk, drive, and work. The colonic has similar side effects to a bowel movement.
